Description

This young man has really become a farm favorite and very special to us. His temperament is very calm and friendly. Although we have not encouraged this behavior at all, it's just the way he is. His growth has been excellent and he was weaned at 5 months of age and 65 pounds !

His conformation is correct and getting better every day as he grows into one of our best herdsires. :) His fiber shows abundant staple length and character. With tiny little crimps on his top knot and neck and a wonderful shine.

At his first show, at just 6 months 2 days of age, he was the youngest in the show and brought home the 6th place ribbon out of the 6 entries. The class consisted of 4 Light Fawn and 1 beige. Judge Diana Timmerman commented that he had plenty of time to grow and he had the brightest fiber in the class ! And she was right because just 4 months later he took 2nd place at Southern Select !

"GL" has grown into a strong and confident young male. He's showing excellent staple and fleece character in his blanket which continues to also be consistent throughout. His personality is laid back and gentle and he is one of the best loved boys in our herd.

GL is breeding and we have 3 lovely male cria from him in 2018. He bred to 3 white females and we got 3 different colors. White, Light Fawn and Medium Fawn !

Call or email us today to schedule a visit or for fiber samples .... you won't be disappointed !
