Zahara is a pure Patagonia bred female, that has a wonderfully fine fleece(as Patagonia is known for!)and tons of color in her background. Zahara is now a proven dam, as she has a lovely Challenger cria at her side. Totally unassisted birth(while I ran to a movie) and the baby had a 18 hr IGG of over 2000!! Super good mommy and baby is thriving.We named him Drako and he is a real cutie.
We are breeding Zahara back to the super stud, Peruvian Black Icecapade-2x MAPACA Black Champion. We had our first baby from him this spring and we are very impressed with what he is throwing. Zahara sports a black spot on her knee and has the genetics to throw black(or grey) so we are hoping this combination will give us that lovely fine fleeced black we are always after.
