Our Mission Statement:
Catalpa Creek Alpacas was founded by Stuart & Michele Ray in the summer of 2000, Catalpa Creek Alpaca has had one goal in mind, producing the best in quality alpacas. After visiting the AOBA National Conference in May of 2000, Michele and Stuart toured the United States alpaca farms in search of the finest alpaca breeding stock. Catalpa Creek Alpacas has purchased the best alpacas for breeding stock in the industry. Our focus has been to purchase and produce the industries best females for our herd, then selecting the BEST herd Sires the industry has to offer! Our breeding program has been validated with Catalpa Creek Alpacas receiving nearly 40% blue ribbons in our shows during 2006! From sires such as R Peruvian Dakotia Decadence (Cody) who has multiple show ring wins and our recent purchase of Accoyo America's Sinbad, High Selling sire at the Parade of Champions! Sinbad sold for a well-deserved $205,000. and we are proud partners with Seldom Scene Farms! Also in 2006 our 1st place Ribbon winner R Peruvian Jasmine sold for $37,000 at the prestigious 2006 AOBA Auction, Catalpa Creek Alpacas is producing the finest alpacas in the industry! Farm Description:
We have 10 acres with 30 Huacaya Alpacas living here, and 6 Co-Owned Herdsires standing stud in Frankfort, KY at Seldom Scene Farm.
