In the fall of 2008 we moved to western Kentucky from Maryland where we purchased our foundation herd from Wild Rose Suri Ranch and Chesapeake Alpacas.  Our alpacas will be transported to our farm for Christmas 2008.  We specialize in full-Peruvian Suri alpacas and currently have 5 breeding females, 2 female crias, a herdsire and a jr. herdsire with 5 spring 2009 crias expected. Hummingwood Farm

Hummingwood is presently home to 16 alpacas. We have been involved with these wonderful animals since 2003 when we bought our first home in the back of the mini-van. Now we have a successful breeding herd producing some very striking huacayas.
