Naomi wins first at the 2009 Michigan International AlpacaFest AND National Champions' Alpaca Show!
Naomi is a strong-boned, "well-conformed female with a lot of style and presence", says Judge Susan Tellez; taking after her mother Dexter's Peruvian Lily. At just six months old, she already weighed 100 lbs.! Her first shearing, with only 10 months of growth, yielded 4 lbs. 11 oz. of SKIRTED fiber. We have processed it into 21 skeins of gorgeous, super soft fiber. (You can purchase it from our website www.allthingsalpacaonline.com.) Willow Bridge Fiber Mill says the yarn is simply "yummy...worthy of an heirloom garment". A Snowmass Incaaccoyo Star (Peruvian Snowmaster) granddaughter with 4Peruvian Legacy on her paternal grandmother's side and CPeruvian Jaxon (the most sought after male in the Canadian importation) on her dam's side. She has silver grey genetics on both sides of her lineage. She has bay/black feet like her mother. We have recently noticed the rose grey on her nose and ears!
