Alaula is a lovely new Cria from Ambrosia and Paxton. We purchased Ambrosia from Jodie at Peaceful Acres Alpacas and had her bred to Paxton's Magic, who has a number of AOA Fleece Awards. With Ambrosia being the Daughter of 18 X Champion Snowmass Kahuna Sunrise, and the Snowmass Matrix and Snowmass Quechua bloodlines from Paxton, we have high hopes for this little girl.

Her name, Alaula (a-la-u'-la), n. is Hawaiian meaning:

1. A red streak of light, such as is seen after the setting and before the rising sun.

This is in honor of her Grandfather, 18 x Champion Snowmass Kahuna Sunrise.
